Anita Sarkeesian (Canadian-American) is a feminist media critic as well as a public speaker, and Canadian. She is the founder of Feminist Frequency the website which provides commentary and videos on depictions of women's roles in popular media. The ambitious lady planned to launch an internet series on the role of gender in games but was the target of a harassment campaign online. This attack didn't stop her, but instead strengthened the determination of an activist for women in media. She has won several awards for her contributions to feminism. Anita Sarkeesian was a multi-award winner for her work as a journalist. She was also the creator and director of Feminist Frequency a nonprofit educational group that focuses on pop-culture representations of females.
