Taylor Alison Swift is an American musician and singer. She was born December 13, 1989. Her discography spans diverse genres. Swift's songwriting, often influenced by her personal life and received critical praise. Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Swift relocated to Nashville at age 14 to become a country artist. She signed a songwriting and recording agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Her 2006 self-titled debut album made her the first female country singer to record an U.S. platinum-certified album. Swift's second album, Fearless (2008) was focused on country pop. Speak Now (2010) was her third album. The tracks "Love Story" and "You Belong with me" from the first album were the first songs to have top of the U.S. all-genre and pop charts. Red (2012) featured the debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "We We Never Ever Coming Back Together." She abandoned her image as a country singer in 1989 (2014), which was supported by chart-topping tracks such as "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", or "Bad Blood". Reputation is a hip-hop album that featured the top-selling song "Look at What You Did to Me" Me Do", was inspired by media scrutiny.
